We insist that our suppliers provide safe working conditions, treat workers with dignity and respect, and use responsible manufacturing processes. Ray Padula Holdings maintains a comprehensive supplier code of conduct in which we outline all of our expectations for companies that we do business with. We evaluate compliance through a rigorous in-house and third party auditing program and work proactively with our suppliers to drive change, if needed.

Child & Forced Labor

Ray Padula Holdings forbids the use of child, forced, indentured, and/or bonded labor. Factories must actively implement verifiable processes and regulations to ensure that all workers engaged in the production of any Ray Padula products are recruited and retained in compliance with all applicable laws including those on human trafficking, slavery, and discrimination.

Health & Safety

All suppliers must provide a healthy and safe working environment. Worker safety is a top priority at Ray Padula Holdings. Factories must actively engage in the identification and elimination of any potential hazards swiftly and consistently.

Employment

Suppliers must have a verifiable process in place that governs all hiring practices that accurately verify workers' age as well as legal rights to work in the country prior to their employment. All aspects of hiring including onboarding, pay, promotion, training access, termination, and retirement must be based on an individual's ability and willingness to do the job. Corporal punishment, mental, physical, or any form of abuse, as well as harsh, inhumane treatment of worker's and the like is unacceptable and forbidden.

Labor Hours

Employees may not work hours in excess of that allowed by local law and may not work more than six consecutive days without a full 24 hour period of rest and may not work more than 70 hours in any seven day consecutive period.

Compensation

Worker compensation, including wages, overtime, and benefits must meet or exceed legal requirements. Suppliers are encouraged to provide wages and benefits that are above the sufficient amount needed to meet worker's basic needs.

Living Areas

Factories that provide dormitory and eating facilities for workers must provide safe, sanitary, and healthy facilities

Laws

All suppliers must fully comply with all applicable national and local laws, including those related to labor, immigration, and health and safety

Conflict of Interest

Suppliers must not engage in any activity with a Ray Padula Team Member which would create a real, or perceived conflict of interest.

Gifts & Gratuities

Ray Padula Holdings forbids giving or accepting any gifts, including entertainment, exceeding $50 USD in value. This applies to Ray Padula Team Members and their family members. No gifts or entertainment, regardless of monetary value, may be offered to a Ray Padula customer, or a 3rd party auditor, or in connection with any inspection, audit, or during any bidding process.

Corruption

Suppliers must not tolerate, permit, engage in bribery, corruption or any unethical practices. Suppliers must maintain accurate, transparent, and honest records relating to all business with Ray Padula Holdings.

Enforcement

Ray Padula by itself, or by using a 3rd party, will make various announced, and unannounced inspections of facilities and their records to ensure compliance with all of Ray Padula Holdings Code of Conduct. Suppliers must maintain and will make available to Ray Padula, all documents necessary to demonstrate compliance with our Code.

Conflict Minerals

Ray Padula Holdings supports the humanitarian purposes behind Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act, which deals with Conflict Minerals. Conflict Minerals, by definition of the Act, are tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold that originate from conflict sources. We do everything we can to avoid the use of conflict minerals. Ray Padula does not allow minerals from conflict sources - meaning originating from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and surrounding countries to be used in the manufacturing of any Ray Padula products.
